I am currently in the process of trying to locate my dad's 1964 Falcon Futura that he had when he was a teenager. Im looking to possibly get it back for a birthday present, no matter what shape its in. How can I go about doing this since no VIN information is stored before 1981? I can possibly get a license plate number from then, his drivers license number, and possibly some insurance info. Has anyone else ever done anything like this?
