It's not a bad looking car, but I think it's under powered for a signuture addition. Slap a V8 in there and make it rearwheell drive and you might have a nice car.

It's the last American coupe with good interior room like the Cougars and Thunderbirds used to be, but it needs to be RWD. I wouldn't sell it if someone gave it to me though.

Yuck, the new Monte Carlos are so flimsy-looking. The sheet metal looks so thin and NASCAR-like, it appears the whole thing is plastic. When the new MC first came out back in '94-'95, they looked pretty good.

if you look at the insides of a monte carlo, you'll realize it is all plastic. :notnice: btw, what kinda engines do they have. i wouldn't know. the one at the garage i work at is engineless.

IF Dale Jr himself gave me one I would not trade it in.
I think they are pretty to look at, I just won't buy one. I gotta break out of the GM cycle and get a ford next.

I DID!
And I never even knew the house across from DEI was Junyas until I moved away.Thats back when Nascar was still something worth watching. Sadly he has since moved- but I could tell you where the old one is- or Theresas house. Blast.

And I REALLY liked the old 80s Monte SS..
