Grabber Blue...Camaro vert...unveiled on Glee?

I admit. It was my cousin's birthday yesterday and I was forced to endure my first (and only) episode of this retarded show. In the midst of one of the "performances", a remake of a Britney Spears music video, the only thing I noticed was the blue Camaro vert in the background. Guess I wasn't the only one. And for you guys who are going to be disappointed if Ford discontinues GB for 2012, it looks like GM is going to pick up the slack...

First of all, Patrick you should have noted the time in which the copy cat camaro shows up so I wouldn't have had to sit through 1min+ of that garbage.

Secondly, WTF GM?? Talk about jocking someone's style...

Haha sorry Jason. I already watched it once last night. I wasn't watching it again. For everyone else, warning! The car doesn't show up until well in to the video. How far in? I don't know.

Yeah, you notice I didn't include the time either? If we have to suffer, so should they!

If anyone is copying Dodge came out in 2008? maybe 09... with the blue pearl... which is also rooted in Dodge's history.

As far as the Camaro and Glee... Weird audience to try and go after and get noticed in, realisticly I'd say it's probably pretty far from their target market.

As a side note, if you watch the original video of Britney Spears she has what looks to be an Azure Blue Mustang vert in the video. It seems to have been swapped out for the vert Camaro.

Are we seriously doing this? Seriously?

That predates ALL the other cars period, let alone when they started making blue ones.

This isn't the first time GM has tried to move a product with ad placement in mainstream television or movies. Let's not forget how the whole Transformers/GM relationship went about and how every main character was GM related, with the exception of the bad guys who inevitably end up getting smashed(though the Saleen and R8 look ten times better, even banged up). The Camaro did make a huge splash, so i'm not surprised to see GM going after something with the sudden massive popularity of Glee, trying to broaden their demographic.

As for GB, if GM is going to use it I think Ford is doing a good thing by getting rid of it. Out with the old, in with the new. Let GM have Ford's leftovers.

Very interesting. I bet someone might see this and happen to be driving by a Ford dealer and see a GB Mustang and go buy it. More power to Ford and seeing as this car isn't even out yet you can't buy a Copy Cat Blue Camaro.

No I know, I'm talking presently tho. As the first of the 2005+ muscle cars etc... Dodge first brought it back... And the color does resonate with it's model year 1970. The pic is that of a 72 tho...

And Jason, idk man- I've seen quite a few of the challengers/chargers and it's a very similar color. It all depends on lighting. When the Camaro comes out I'd love to see if a car magazine or such can get all 3 side by side.

Obviously we can all knowingly say is that all 3 are getting their version of the color on the market.

Edit: anyone think tho that it's a one off and a custom built conversion? It has regular state plates...
