if hes going for that look, why not a GTO? :P i kno i kno.

but the GTO aint a bad car. after incentives and discounts they should be in the mi 20s. food for thought

From that angle April posted, the Charger doesnt look half bad I would go as far as saying that it look really mean, and that it's growing on me

From the picture you gave of the Grand Prix, it looks like they restyled the lower front fascia, looks better in my opinion (although I still prefer the last generation, no matter what the major car magazines say about "cladding").

Have you considered a Crown Victoria LX Sport? Only $32,000 before rebates and low milage preowned ones, with only 15,000 miles or so, can be had for a mere $20,000. Vics have long trouble free lives and can easily go past 200,000 miles given that you properly maintain the car. Not only that, did you know that Crown Victorias are longer and even more spacious than the BMW 7 series? Yup it is true, look up interior and exterior dimensions of both cars. You'll have to search high and low to find car with more shoulder room, more hip room, and more avialable luggage space than a Crown Vic. Plus, if you get bored of it, there's quiet an aftermarket avaialabe for the Vic. Most 2v Mustang GT parts will bolt on, including heads, intake mainfold (with some modification), throttle body, and such. Another interesting buy is the Cadillac CTS. For $36,000, you can buy a six speed manual 255 hp V6 Nurenburg tested sport sedan with fully independent front and rear suspension.

I have a real issue with ever owning another GM........That Death cool and the massive emptying of my checkbook it did scares me off.

I have had 3 dodge vehicles(2 neons and a wtf was I thinking Sunfire).
One pontiac- a lemon Sunbird
One Gm- Death cooled alero-oh wait, I had a tempramental Camaro too.
YES I owned a Hyundai- the only goof thing I can say is it didn't kill me when I totaled it.
Eleanor is my third Ford(Had a bronco and a ranger too)- all the fords have been fine. Eleanor being my favorite.

Granny car.

Not so, the Grand Marquis is a granny car, Vics are business men cars. I hardly doubt, you could call this rocket couch a granny's car.

Well the base Charger does start at 23k. The SRT-8 doesn't.

CRAP!
I can either own one really expensive car or two nice ones... That just pushed it off my price range-what with just buying the mustang and all.

You may want to just go test drive one. The V6 may be powerful enough for you. The V6 is rated at 250 hp and 250 ft-lbs.
