The first GT (Chassis #10) sold at auction for $557,000. A lot of dealers out there figure since the first one sold for that amount, they can sell theirs high.
I approached a dealership I have dealt with before when the concept appeared-we set up a deal and had it put on paper by our respective legal reps-locked in the $149,995 MSRP for my order. Since then the dealership has managed to sell through the Net 4 more GTs at 250-400K.
Guess they made back the money they lost on my deal!
