whats the deal? I thought the GTs were supposed to be around $150K?

Sorry, I only have $210K in my wallet right now. Maybe another time...

The deal is that since there aren't nearly enough GTs to go around, you have to offer more money than the other guy who wants the same car.

The first GT (Chassis #10) sold at auction for $557,000. A lot of dealers out there figure since the first one sold for that amount, they can sell theirs high.

I approached a dealership I have dealt with before when the concept appeared-we set up a deal and had it put on paper by our respective legal reps-locked in the $149,995 MSRP for my order. Since then the dealership has managed to sell through the Net 4 more GTs at 250-400K.

Guess they made back the money they lost on my deal!
