Forgotten vehicles or special editions...got any.
Can you think of any vehicles or special editions that don't get talked about much or just slipped your mind. I like some of the crazy things they did to make sales on some of the models, some are really rare finds even if they will never be worth much but have a place in auto history. I bet there are a bunch of vehicles or editions you have not thought of in a real long time. this isn't about good or bad all in good fun.
Here are some of mine:
Lincoln LSC White lightning edition.
and the Midnight Mark
The Mercury Mystique young america
Lincoln Blackwood
Ford EXP
and the Mercury Bobcat
Chevy Beretta Indy

Here's a car I was talking with some guys at work about today,
The Cosworth Vega. The only Vega I'd actually like to own, powered by cosworth's excellent twin cam 2 liter.

1973-1974 Ford Pinto Pangra
2.0L turbo rated at 175 hp.
And it was fast ... much faster than Porsche 914 and Datsun 240Z for much less money.
Only 55 were built.

1970 Ford Torino King Cobra.
It was supposed to be a next generation of NASCAR cars. Since Torino Talladega couldn't keep up with Dodge Daytonas and Plymouth Superbirds on superspeedways, Ford built this Torino King Cobra.
One was powered by a 429 Cobra Jet engine, second one had 428 if I'm not mistaken and the last one had 351. Ford was also planing to add the big wing, similar to one on Daytona/Superbird.
And it was too **** fast ... I read Cale Yarborough's autobiography, and he drove everything and anything (he was 3 times NASCAR champ), and according to him - King Cobra was the best NASCAR car he ever drove and the only car ever that actually scared him.
Ford built only few prototypes (3 if I remember correctly) before the project was killed when Ford decided to exit from the NASCAR.
I think the identical Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II was also built and nobody knew it existed until it showed up at Ford's 100th anniversary back in 2003.

Remeber when Ford had planeed to call the 6.2 the Hurricane and decided in defference to the survivors of Katrina to call it the premium V8 (or whatever they decided to call it).
