I think it was simply because we all fell in love with the concept, and most of us got over it when the production pics came out. However, some were already set on that exact look, and were just disappointed to see the production not look spot-on.

Why do you keep insisting that the GTO is the same size as the Mustang? I don't call a nearly 300 lb weight difference a small thing. Not to mention that I saw a GTO today, and it looked much bigger than the Mustang I was driving.

I brought up this Torino subject before. I used to have a 70 Torino. I wouldn't mind getting another 70, or maybe a 72?

I've always been a fan of mid-sized cars, like the SC T-Bird etc. Having another mid-sized performance car would be very nice! So, I am all for a new Torino!

Even though I love the new Stang, I wish it was a bit smaller. Other then that, I think Ford scored a Touchdown!

I would like to see Ford bring back the Falcon. Have a convertible model around 20k and an AWD SVT Model to compete with the rice burners.
Ford needs to make a rag top cheaper then the Mustang. A fun car that everybody can afford. Something better then the Focus!

My brother had a 1970 Torino with a 428CJ. The car had highway gears & we never did find top speed. Pulled strong past 150. Crazy car.

Ya Ford build a V10 Torino with about 600HP, I'm all for it.

All I want to see is an even more refined luxurious model...see COUGAR...

Ah, IRS, Navigation, Leather/aluminum trim.... That'd be sweet.

YEAH Poney Express! They sure were a sweet working car. Thats when they made real muscle cars! Seemed like the top end would never end. There was lots of get up and Go! manufacturers today are trying to find the get up.... to go!

If they bring back the Torino it better get lypo in its butt. One thing I couldn't stand about those cars was that rear overhang, I mean how much trunk do you really need???

The only thing that scares me about Dee-Troit bringing back names is that they never live up too the original.A new Torino would be cool, but only if they do what they did with the 05 Stang. Take some of the old designs and update them instead of coming out with some Tortoise type thing with the Torino name.
