Hello all. My name is Jeff Greenly. I work at Yocum Ford in Lansdale Pa, and have posted in the past that our dealership was receiving a Ford GT. Well, our car was built in late November, and now that the control arm recall has finally been performed, our car has arrived, and is now in our showroom Having ridden in the car AND driven it, I can truely say that is is one INCREDIBLE machine. The acceleration is unreal, the braking is top notch, and the cornering ability is incredible. The car just stays flat!.
The funny thing is that the GT drives like any other car around town at normal speeds. It is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It being the doctor while just driving around, but can be a monster if you get on it. Having been around this car for a week, it is an amazing feat what Ford has done to develop and build a car that can keep up with the Ferrari Enzo, and Porsche Carrera GT, and yet, cost less than them both.
I just wanted to let some of you, who may be from the Philadelphia/N.J. area, (we're 25 miles north of Philadelphia) who have not yet seen a GT up close, that you are welcome to stop in. Feel free to bring a camera and take pictures if you like. I am a huge car person myself, as are many of you, so I wanted to let you know we have one to see. Believe me, I have gone to dealers myself to see rare cars (A Lamborghini dealer is only 40 minutes away ). I truely love cars . If you stop in, and I'm working, feel free to say hi, as I'll be pleased to meet and talk cars with anyone who reads and/or posts on this great site,. Hope to see some of you up here.
:Edit: I finally figured out how to add pics to a post . Here are some pics of our Ford GT, sitting out front of my dealership. I hope you all enjoy

The color of the car is Mark VI Red, with the White racing stripes. If someone can tell me how to post pictures on here, I have plenty of pictures on my digital camera. I've never tried to post pics on here before, and don't know how to.

Hey Cody, techically, the car is not for sale. If we did sell it, it would probably be( and I am guessing here) in the $220,000 range. I would really like to post some pics of the car, but no one has sent me a PM on how to put pictures in a reply. I am hoping someone will send me directions soon. I may email Brad.

Hi Jeff,
How long will you guys have the car. The reason I ask is that I live in the Reading area and would definetly be interested in seeing it up close and personal on an upcoming weekend. Please let me know!
Thanks,
Andy

Way back in 1971 I saw a Fodt GT40 on an exotic lot for sale. Only $12k, but way beyond my means at the time. What a sweet car. I think the new ones are even better but I don't think they'll appreciate like the originals. Still, I'd love to have one. Oh well.
When I was in college I had a poster of the 1-2-3 finish at LeMans. I wish I still had it.

Hey Scott, I may have a way for you to get back that poster you had. I went on eBay, and found these posters. They are currently hanging in my office at the dealership, among many other pictures and a giant 58"x14" photo of the GT40 Reunion at Watkins Glen.

I got these from a company called f.a.s.t, Ford Automotive Supercar Treasury.
They routinely have these prints for sale. Just go to ebay, use advanced search, and type in their name, as you see it above, all lower case, and with a period after the first 3 letters. As you can see, they are worth the money, which I believe was $25 or so plus $5 for shipping.Hope you can get one

Sweet Jesus! Every time i see a picture of that car, i fall more in love with it. Thanks for the pics Jeff.
Did anyone catch the cover story of june's motor trend? FordGT vs F430. To sum it up, they end the article with something along the lines of "The Ford heads back to michigan with its head held high, but without an overall victory"... You get the idea. Go to a newstand to get the details, but more importantly to look at the beautiful pics. Sure the ferrari is a looker, but... I think motor trend said themselves that the Ford GT is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. I agree.

I never get tired of looking at the GT
I guess the closest I'll ever get to owning one are the 1:64 replica's I picked up last week
Anyways, here are some pics of one in the showroom, when I picked up my pony several months ago. I tried to make a trade on the spot, but they said no
