Ok, I got word this morning from my friend going to work this morning driving by Green Valley Ford (Ford of Fairfield) and he saw them unloading a new 05 Ford GT that was red comming out of an actual trailer (not the crappy ones you see hauling typical cars) So my other friend and I go there this afternoon to check it out, and we ask one of the managers just to look but they wont let us claiming not even the sales people there are allowed to go and look at it or anything at all...and one sales guy telling me its up for bids and $400k gets it...I felt enraged the moment he told me $400k thinking that this dealer is 1 of MANY GREADY SELFISH JERKhiney dealers....the car friggin runs $141,245 MSRP from Ford's website http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/ I can't believe dealers are ripping people off like this. If I had the money to buy one...I'd try to contact Ford DIRECTLY and screw the dealer...also I know I know this thread is worthless since there are no pics yet
but hey, they at least told me sometime next week the GT will be on the showroom floor so I'll try and take some pics then and post
But darn...I'm just sooooo surprised that my freakin' dealer in a small town has a darn Ford GT (closest dealer I know of that has one is Futur Ford Roseville) :worship:

Maybe I sound like a broken record or just jealous, but they just as well ask a million, cuz they are not going to get 400K, not even 300K. The price has been slowly dropping. Ebay has them in the low 200K range. I have predicted before, by the end of the year they will be under 200K.

yea seriously its just dealers being a bunch of greedy girl of ill reputes is all it is....MSRP is $141k on the darn things, I love em to death but I'd take a few ferrari's depending on what they were over the GT (like an enzo, 575, 550, etc or something like that sheesh) I'd buy the GT out of nostalgia reasons and a piece of history from Ford.

A dealer in El Paso had a red GT for $500K, but $100k of those were going to charity and $200k was to be divided among all employees.
Don't know if it sold, and if it did don't know if the funds went to where they were supposed to
