Yea, my mom just told me about that. I guess it doesn't effect the owners here in Michigan too much, cause it's too cold and snowy to drive them anyway

Thats great, Ford will even go pick your car up and fix it. I guess even $100k+ cars aren't free from faults.

It's going to cost them to recall the GT's in Europe.......I assume they will just ship the parts to a local Ford Centre and get the work done there.
All new cars are affected by glitches, this is just one,

This is really no big deal, as there have been only 448 built so far, with only 289 of these being shipped to the dealers, and 106 of these being in the hands of customers. So this is really quite small. The dealership I work for is getting one, and it is currently built, but still in the factory in Detroit (has not been shipped yet), so for this fix, just put the car on the lift, and replace the control arm, with the new piece.

Every car has issues in some form or another, even Rolls Royce has had a recall in the recent past. If anyone says anything about this, just remind them that there are repair garages at every make of car's dealership, Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. Again no big deal. This car is still one incredible piece of american machinery, and the biggest bargin in supercar history !

All car manufacturers have recalls. Ford's recalls are just more high profile and targeted by the media.
The so called premium brands are not immune from quality problems. Check out this link on a Porsche forum. Quality nightmare.

Besides, it was a supplier issue, not a Ford issue, right?

considering Ford doesnt make hte suspension, yes. Actually most quality issues ARE supplier issues, so I normally dont care too much about recalls.
