I have created a For dealer rating website so everyone can share their dealer experiences. I am hoping this site will evolve into a place where current and future Ford owners can go for reliable dealer information provided by the people for the people.

Have you had a good experience at a certain dealer? A bad experience? Let everyone know! Add your dealer experiences and help your fellow Ford owners.

Ratings are on a 5 point scale, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

this is a good idea. now to get the dealers to see what the people who are using them really think of them.

Neither have I but I would give Lansdale Ford a 5 out of 5.

Jeff Greenly let me come down and look at a brand new GT and has been helpful with any questions we have regarding purchasing a new vehicle.

Great guy!

We'll be buying from him when the time is right for sure

My father dealt with Haldeman Ford in Allentown though for his 98 Mystique. They were very polite, helpful, weren't pushy at all, and were easy to negotiate with.

Lucky you. My local Ford dealer didn't even let me test 05 Mustang V6 even though, at that time, I was very interesting in buying one. Pretty much every question I asked him about trading in my car and 2005 Mustang his answer was "I'm not sure."

I had that experience at Reading Honda. Some people should not be in sales

Yes I was lucky to see it. No ropes no nothing... as many pics as I could take. Plus Jeff even opened up the doors and engine compartment. Beautiful car

I went to a Lincoln/Mercury dealer a couple of years ago when the Marauder first came out to take it for a test drive. The salesman takes me to the car, I get in, he stands in between me and the front door so I can't close it. I start it up, he tells me to rev it, so I do, and then he told me to shut it down. I tell him I want to take it for a test drive. He says "Well bring your dad back, I will let him drive it, even take it by your house to see if it fits in the garage." Needless to say I won'tbe going back there again.

That stinks!
The dealer that I bought my 99 from let me take a 99 Cobra vert with 20k on it out for a spin just for fun after we purchased the GT

Why can't I find a dealer like that in my city? I will never forget one Lincoln/Mercury dealer. Last summer I went there to test 2001 Navigator. Awesome car, around 50,000 miles, my color (red), navigation system, dvd player ... pretty much every option Lincoln offered. I test drove it, like it, and I was ready to buy it. But then stupid dealer raised price from $21,000 to God-know-how-many (I stopped listening to him after he told me that $21,000 is not real price). He showed me some other older Navigator for $21,000 but it was really in bad shape.

You find some dealers that base their operations on being polite and honest and then there are some that are just downright money hungry.

You just have to scope out the area and ask others of their experiences.

For example, my dad bought his 01 Legacy from a dealer that he swore he would never buy from. The thing was the salesman was extremely honest and didn't even haggle when my father threw out his price (which was really low). The guy was extremely polite and did everything he could to impress my father.

You have good ones and bad ones. The best thing to do is be patient and don't give in until you feel your getting the best deal you can get
