Ferrari Enzo Half Off!
Only in california... I don't let anyone drive my car and it doesn't cost anything close to an enzo...
Stupid driver, quite obviously. But what a testiment to the structural integrity of the Enzo itself that after such a catastrophic crash, the big injury was a cut lip. Guess there's some real engineering depth to these Ferraris above their incredible performance.
How the heck did he crash that at 120? That road looks straight as an arrow.
I've driven drunk while evading the cops and going 140 on crappy tires in an SN-95 and I got home safely. He's an even bigger idiot than I was, plus he messed up a million dollar car!

Person that said that he's was passenger in Enzo was actually driver. His name is Stefan Eriksson, he's from Sweden, he's the guy who inveted Gizmondo video games.

Article in the LA Times yesterday said police estimate the speed was more like 160.
Car hit a rise/bump in the road and went airborn.
Hard to control any car when it's flying.
The idiot is lucky to have survived.

Yes, I've also seen several articles about wrecked Enzo's. It's not the car's fault. I accept yout idea about the owner's being complete idiots. Having bags of money doesn'r mean you know how to drive. And remember this wasn't on a track but on a public road. Imbecile!
Jury deliberations start in Eriksson case (Nov 2)
Eriksson case ends in mistrial!
What wasn't listed in this article, and I forget if it was posted above, but once he was found to be the driver of the Enzo, they also found out that he had an SLR that was illegal to be here. Police impounded that car, and they arrested him. From the article tied to the second link, the DA's office will go after him again, with same charges plus more.
Yup, go figure. I wondered what ever happened to his impounded SLR? I mean, to let you know how little this guy's elevator didn't go to the top floor, he was driving this car, AND the SLR around Hollywood and such using European license plates! You know, the long ones. And he thought he wouldn't get caught with them on his car? Come on.
I will say nothing more.
