That car is STUNNING!!! Love the two-tone and the diamond quilted leather is just ! Also like how each of the 60 cars will have a different Ferrari emblem on the center console. Very cool!!

I'm still uncertain as to why they chose the 612... I for one think even the F430 looks better in their current lineup. Probably wouldn't be enough buyers if it was a markup on top of the 599GTB mark ups though. I could have sworn they have been talking about this car for almost a year now though. Maybe I'll like it if I see one in person, but it just doesn't scream "This car represents 60 years of Ferrari's" to me at least.

The car is beautiful, but it certainly doesn't seem like it should represent 60 years of Ferrari's. Just my opinion...

some might forget that many of ferraris history has been front engine 2+2 cars.

Yes, but even less remember that Ferrari was solely a racing outfit until they figured out that putting cars on the market would help funding their racing efforts... Secondly Enzo Ferrari hated the concept of rear engined cars right up until they started beating him, at which time he started the P series race cars. If this is to honor the companies history meaning the founder, or it's early days then I can't see how you could possibly say that the 599 isn't the perfect candidate. If you'd like to think of it as a recreation of it's best selling cars... Well, what do you think sells more, the 355-360-430, or the 2+2s like the 456 and the 612. Well seeing as the 360 has been the highest production Ferrari ever, I would assume that the F430 would also be a better choice than the 612.

599 and the 430 are not 2+2's.. I think this was the best one to go with.

I don't remember mentioning that they were. I just can't remember any "Great Ferrari's" past or present that were 2+2's.

I think we should just agree to disagree on this one.
