Favorite Driving Roads
NC Hwy 64 Between Hendersonville, NC, through Highlands, NC then into Franklin, NC. Where you switch onto Hwy 129, which twists and turns until you get to the famous Tail of the Dragon/Deal's Gap. There's a ton of fun roads in that general area. Then up the Foothills Parkway into Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg TN. Its 200 miles that will take you 5-6 fun filled hours, because as you can see there's not much of a straight road anywhere!
BTW, those who are going to the 50th in Charlotte, we're gonna hit up alot of these roads!

to be honest, you could take that entire region and find more roads than you could drive in a month.
it's more fun than should be legal, I was giddy as a schoolgirl driving through there, it's a laugh and thrill a minute for sure.
