I have replacement stripe for rear bumper, I'm just waiting for weather to get better. I might even completely take stripe off the rear bumper because same thing might happen again.

What's wrong with this picture?

Hmmm. Seems someone didn't want me to link to that picture. Well I guess it was that bad.

Not necessarily, but it is an offset stripe. It's supposed to be, ya know - offset.

(Please stop with the red text. It's the online equivalent of rice, serving no purpose but to draw attention and annoy others. IMHO.)

What idiot would make Mustang or Camaro or Trans Am or any muscle car rice?
Zoran, you'd be surprised how many idiots there are

Yeah, N.S. Seems like common sense went out the window w/ some of these folks while they were still in elementary school.

Adding to the list....

any neon=rice
"R" badge=rice
teeny-tiny steering wheel=rice
coffee can exhaust=rice
any 4 cyl without at least an 8KRPM peak=rice
NOS=rice
PC that's "supposed" to double as an ECM inside the car=rice
DVD player playing with no one in the backseat watching=rice
spninner wheels=rice (or worse)
any mods to a cavalier=rice (you have to have a good platform to start your mods)
if it's 3" off the ground or less=rice
any paint scheme using more than two colors=rice
if the car behind you can't see more than the tops of your shoulders while driving=ricer

There's tons more, but you get the picture....don't rice a muscle car.

BTW....I'm an RX8 owner....that's not rice.

I dont think anyone calls a stock Japanese car rice. Also rice can be applied to a domestic vehicle as well. God knows there are many riced out stangs out there, just go to mustangworld.com and look at the galleries there.

Rice is a state of mind really. If your car has any of the following then it could be rice.

ANY part from APC
Altezzas
Neons
Wheels so big they hurt performance
500 pounds of stereo in your "race" car
Chrome wheel well trim
Universal fiberglass wing
Huge exhaust on an otherwise stock 4 cyl
Having just a CAI and thinking your front drive 4 cyl is a 13 second car
Lots of stickers
Having a boost guage in a car without a supercharger/turbo
Having a 12,000 rpm monster memory tach in a stock car. (add points if it isnt hooked up and it blocks your still working factory tach)
Having nitrous but its not hooked up to your engine only your purge jets.
Excessive body cladding
Unpainted body kits
Body kits that look like they were melted and stretched
Aftermarket or badge off another car that says "R"
Knowing your car is a 16 second ride but still revving your engine at a 13 second or faster car.
Dual 3 inch exhaust on a 4 cyl
Dual exhaust with only 1 side hooked up
Attaching your big **** wing with no supports underneath and with grade 2 hardware (add points if your trunklid has bent or started to rust from the mounting, add triple points if there is a bunch of visible silicone around the base)
Universal aluminium wings (#1 ricer accessory)
Turning on flashers after a race (add many points if you lost or if the other car wasnt racing you)

Heres some examples of mustang rice.

That's rice...

And unusfull ad-on's like a really oversized wing, that's rice
i personally have nothing against stickers and spoilers but do not overact..
For instant: put a really big wing on a golf 1 or NOS turbocharged stickers on a mini, rice is: no engine modding but only overact the exterior body modding...

Check out the "Rice Haters Club" (http://www.ricehatersclub.com/). I cut and pasted the following:

We believe in doing what ever it is you want to do to your ride, be it a stocker or an all-out dragster, as long as it doesn't veer off into the Ricer World.

What do we consider "Ricer" to be? Well, if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be here, but I'll humor your inquisitiveness anyway.

-Any bone stock ride that is covered in stickers from companies that have nothing to do with that ride is a Ricer.
-Any ride with a paint job that looks like something Walt Disney threw-up is a Ricer.
-Any ride with more bondo than sheet metal is a Ricer.
-Any ride with undercarriage lighting is a Ricer.
-Any ride with neon ANYWHERE is a Ricer (beer trucks omitted).
-Any ride with wheels 3 sizes too small or too large is a Ricer.
-Fartpipe coffee can exhaust? Ricer.
-"R" Badges? Ricer.
-Monster tach in a mechanically stock vehicle? Ricer.
-Ground effects bought at Home Depot? Ricer.
-Fake scoops mounted where even real scoops would serve no purpose? Ricer.
-A spoiler that more resembles a picnic basket handle? Ricer. If on a car that's slow and doesn't need the downforce, just there for being just there.
-Aviation parts mounted "for better traction"? Ricer.
-Defrost ducts painted with latex paint to match the color of the sticker on the brake pads? Ricer.

A Ricer doesn't have to be an Import. There are plenty of Riced-out Domestics on the road. In fact, many of our members own Imports. We are NOT anti-Import, we are anti-Ricer.

They also have many pictures posted as examples. And some of them are freaking hilarious.
So Cobra R is a rice? Fixed! Read that statement again.

Holy Moly! What part of your brain must you lose to actually think that those mods are aestheticly pleasing?

What's wrong with red text? That's why color options exist ... right?

Does that make the GTO "rice" seing that it is basically a modded cavalier?

I think rice can really be summed up as follows:

Placing an unusual or exaggerated part on a car that does not fit the style of the car...

examples...3 foot high spoiler on a hatch or fast back, sponsor stickers without sponsor parts, gaudy body kits, BMW vents on non-BMW cars, etc, etc...

Most of 'rice' is really a matter of opinion...I have seen several cars that are borderline, but are rather refined...whereas others are downright ridiculous in terms of the "Liberacci Factor"

What?? NOS is not rice. I guess that makes Eleanor rice then too, huh? NOS is a legit performance booster.
