Everyone say hello to "Tank" (56K be warned)

It's not a Mustang but it is a Ford. It's the truck my wife's always wanted, 1977 F150. Saw it at my local tire shop sitting for sale on the lot and as soon as she saw it she went into tears, I knew then I had to get it. Decided to put back my Camaro/GTO plans on hold for a while longer yet because honestly I like the truck too. We're the third owner the guy we bought it from, bought it as a project for him and his son with 90K on the clock. Several thousand $'s later and now the son needs a college vehicle and this is definately not it. I can't even list all of the items that have been replaced some you can see in the pics though (all windows, grille, bumpers, lights/markers, paint etc. It's a F100 Ranger XLT with a 400M/auto. The only deviation from stock is the stereo, rims, steering wheel, exhaust (glasspacks naturally) and conversion to power locks with a fob. I am definately impressed, I know this smog motor doesn't have much bragging rights in the hp department but the torque on this thing makes roll in's on the throttle feel like getting kicked with a boot, this thing moves pretty **** good. It will be a sunny day weekend driver and be covered when not in use, and when I finally do get my Z28 back track ready if I don't feel like driving I know this will tow it with no problems. Plans include only headers and larger exhaust (2.25 duals are on it now) and "maybe" 4 barrel (if she lets me ). Enough of the jabber and here are the pics (It's still a tad dirty from sitting up at the shop and it's rainy today so excuse the pics).

WOW that is in great condition. My first new pickup was a 1978 but it was a 300 6cylinder auto Custom (no options)

She's a beaut! I'm fond of '70s-era Ford trucks. I have a 1978 F-150 with a 351M that I'd love to restore someday. She's a rustbucket but I basically grew up with her.
