My favourite car brands used to be Mercury, Dodge and Ford in that order. But just as Ford killed the reason to have a Mercury nameplate through mergers, acquisitions, brand engineering and poor product so has Chrysler done to the Dodge brand. Moving RAM out and creating SRT is a way to keep some name plates alive. Expect Challenger and Charger to continue under SVT, which is a good thing as we'll never see a valid Capri or Cougar again. Sad.
