No desire for more than 250 hp in a relatively lightweight FWD car, especially with the super low-profile tires they always get. I drove several Neon SRT-4's, and you just couldn't put the power down very well, even with the standard Quaiffe LSD they got the last couple of years.

I test drove one and gunned it on a road that wasn't perfectly paved and it through me around everywhere but in a straight line.

I remember driving a chipped SAAB 9/3 Viggen (turbo 2.3, FWD) and that thing was silly fast -- on boost -- but boy, a bit of a handful, if in a fun, silly way (oh so sober Saab hooning around like a fool!).
Should that 300hp number prove true, which would be impressive from even a turbo 1.8, actually being able to utilize that power in a FWD car would be a challenge -- fun I'm sure, but a challenge.

Just another car for the WRX/STi to walk all over.
I don't want anything to do with a high power FWD car. Interesting to see how this one turns out, though, if it does indeed put out 300 hp with FWD.
