Walt, Mark was on this forum before he had the vette. he has a vette now, and is respectful member of the community. he posted it in the appropriate section, and was doing nothing to bug you until you came in here with your snobby attitude and the audacity to tell him his thread doesn't belong.

you are not obligated to be in this thread or post here. if you don't like it, don't come in, don't read it and don't post in it.

Thanks Arin and everyone else that defended my thread while I was at work paying for my Vette.

Walt, I don't know you, but from your post, I can tell that you're not someone that I would like to know, so please stay out of my thread. If you came on a Mustang forum to read about Mustangs, then you would probably be better off staying in the Mustang section of the forum and not the General Vehicle Section of it where we talk about cars that are NOT Mustang related.

Have a nice day.

Last post in this thread...

Arin,

Probably a bad idea for me to post in this thread, but live and learn. I also know that you're a moderator and do not question your authority, so you need not remind of that fact.

Doesn't it take away from the purpose of the site when a guy buys a Corvette and starts a diary on Brad's Mustang site? It blows my mind.

So what happens when a member trades his Mustang in on a Challenger or Camaro and starts his diary? Respected member or not, my question is "Where is the line drawn?" Or is there there a line at all? Some food for thought.

I plan on finishing my interior with some more leather goodies. Then I plan on doing a Z06 widebody so that I can stick some 345s out back. It should be a fun project.

Ummm.... the line is drawn where it says, General Car Chat > General Vehicle Discussion

It blows my mind that people are still so closed minded in this day and age.

BTW, Nice Vette Mark.

Are you going to get Zo6 wheels? If you are can I recommend the new ones (spider style) not the split spoke stars. The spider style are incredible.

Please stay out of my thread. You've already stated that you don't want to read about anything but Mustangs on this forum. There are plenty of intresting threads going on in the S-197 section that I'm sure you will be interested in.

Hehe You know your Vettes. I do plan on getting spider style wheels fairly soon. There is a big Vette show at the National Corvette Museum in April and I would like to have them by then. However, I will not be able to get the widebody by then.

I am thinking about buying the factory reproductions version of the spider wheels in my stock sizes to hold me over. I can get the reproductions for a little higher than supplier cost because I plan on doing some advertising for the company. As long as I get them for the price I was quoted, I should be able to sell them for what I pay for them.

When I do my widebody, I am either going to but a set of CCW wheels or 360 forged.

I figured. lol Im a member over there. Its a great place to learn, but they are way too political. Half the threads now are about the economy and how the world is ending.

Im also thinking about blacking out my tail lights. I did that on my Mustang a while back and I really liked the way it looked.

We've always had an open door feeling towards cars of all makes and models on this site, its why we have general vehicle discussion areas and things of that nature. If you don't care for it, then don't click it. Simple as that. Heck I know a good 50% of the moderator staff would drop mustangs all together for an Aston Martin. Ive been in a c6 Vette and let me tell you, they are worth every penny. Z06

Thats the end of the discussion.

Btw, I still miss our resident GTO owner that used to stop by.

Silver99v6, great vette man, love the color and everything you've done to it thus far.
