Wow, those wheels and the lower ride height really give the already gorgeous DB9 a more aggressive look. For those with the coin to buy any DB9 I cannot imagine why you would choose the standard model over this.

The Aston Martin has long been one of my absolute favorite cars. they are so incredible visually, and this sport pack is even better then than the standard model.
it's almost a little frustrating to see that there are designers within the Ford company that can create cars that look like this or the Jaguar XKR, and all we get are cars that look like the fivehundred. oh well.

To be fair we do get the GT500. Pretty tasty dish in her own right I'd say.

Another home run for AM. I dont really get why the heck they arent selling more cars when they keep rolling them out like this.

Because Aston Martin wants to keep their cars exclusive, hence why they don't make alot more than they can. Over production is the WORST enemy for an exotic car. The best example, look at the current prices for the Ferrari F40 compared to the F50. The F40 is in the $350,000 to $450,000 range, depending on year, and mileage, and so forth. The F50 is over $700,000. The reason being. They made 1,311 F40 over the span, while the F50's just 349 models were made. Hence the difference in value. Had the F40 had been made less, the current value would be much higher. Plus the F40 looks better IMO.

Oh definately, and ford does have really good looking cars, like the mustang and GT, and even the Fusion looks pretty good. But there is no way to equate the beauty of this Aston to the Mustang. It's just that if Ford would release a car this visually incredible, but without the expensive interior or driveline, they'd sell a bunch. can you imagine a standard family sedan that looked as awesome as the DB9 or the XKR?

I think it comes down to power. The DB9's 444 horses aren't quite as impressive as comparable exotic GT's numbers (eg. the Bentley Cont. GT's 550 HP or the Ferrari 575M's 515 HP). Just my 2 cents.

Good point, but I remember seeing 7 figures changing hands for these cars when they were new, so a production run of 1311, while small, doesn't put it the same class as some of the 50's and 60's V-12 models. Look up the prices for a 275GTB or a Lusso, for example, and you'll see my point
