I had the mustang in the shop today for the Ford service #4 (50,000 km check). After I got the car home and reinstalled the CAI and the Brenspeed tune, I noticed a long scratch and about 13 small dents on the right rear fender like someone poked fender will the end of a pen. The Mustang is Windveil Blue and there is some very dark blue paint on the right side of the fender above the small dents. I called the dealer back and the mustang will be repaired under the dealer lot damage plan. So another trip to the dealer and another few days without the mustang. You would think that if you take your mustang in to a dealership in 'excellent shape" that you would get it back in the same manner!
Dealers are the worst for this kinda crap. I've owned two vehicles that both sustained body damage while in the service dept. You would think these idiots would treat the car with respect as if it was their own. Just the thought of having mine in for any service makes me shutter.

I wasn't overly crazy about taking the mustang in for the service#4 but this is what the Ford warranty expects. I absolutely hate taking the mustang to Ford for the simple fact that the mustang is just another car to the service personnel on the Ford lot much like widgets rolling off a conveyor belt. I assume they had some youthful car jockey park the mustang in the after service lot. But in the end the dealer is looking after the repair.
yea but still dam i would of been mad. I never heard of a dealer doing that beside chevrolet. Which reminds me of why i never buy anthing from chevy and dodge.
My to sisters owned chevy and both slipped a rod. My friend test drove a brand new dodge pickup it was knocking. My Friends neighbor bought a srt 10 pickup and shot a rod thru the block. Here another one we went up to the city and green chevy pickup flew up on us and mashed it and black smake shot from under the hood cause he blew a motor lmao

most mechanics' DD cars i've seen weren't in the greatest condition...
Exactly why my mustangs will never have any service done at the dealer or any other shop.
I had my services done at the Ford dealer on my 2005 F-450, the damage, and incompetence were over whelming, scratches on my otherwise perfect paint, over filled crank case! "unrepairable" oil leaks...
