Craig Jackson's Garage
I was gonna PM you this thread Gary if you didn't see it. Now I'm really anxious to see what you draw up for your garage because I was impressed by this.
You're not saying it sucks though, just that he could've done better with $2M

I guess he was restricted somewhat by the fact they built into the side of the mountain/rocks, so the "cave" comments are pretty apt.
I agree everything looks a little crammed in, but I do like the tech. I'd also pass on the Bugatti......and awesome car, but just doesn't float my boat.
This is more my kinda thing.....
As much room for the cars (35 of 'em) as there is for living in!
Cue Yello's "Oh Yeah"

I like the idea of the round garage with the turntable. He was obviously dealing with space limitations, and being able to pull a car into the middle to display it is a great solution to that problem.
I'd like to think I could do better with 2 milly, but when you start excavating into a mountain, finding people to wrap wall panels in custom-bleached leather, and having custom-made magnetically-triggered, car-rated turntables installed (and oh yeah I want to run the whole thing from my iPhone) it adds up. Pretty amazing setup from my view.
And I'll take the Veyron too.

But yes 13k miles on the Bugatti is crazy. I guess it's better than putting miles on the $2 million 'Cuda.
I believe that's the Veyron they sold a few years back and the buyer backed out of the deal. So Jackson bought it himself. The Veyron looks way out of place in that collection also.
I don't see how backing one car out, then pulling the Veyron straight out is any more of a hassle than a lift system. Either way you're moving multiple cars to get one out.
