Cool Story
My mom and I were in backed up traffic, and I noticed a camaro in front of us....the license plae said "LS WON"....then he revved it up a few times, then did a burnout
....there was a ricer 3000gt next to him and he was also revvin up tryin to race or something...then when its clear, he drifts into the turning lane...pretty cool...tells you what kind of people drive camaros (hotheads)....lol

Faster, true. Better looking? It depends on whose eyes you're looking through. I think the best looking Camaro made its debut in 1970. Road & Track called it one of the 10 best looking cars of its time. Since I had bought one--my first new car, an SS350,--I had to agree.
After that I think they went downhill from an aesthetic perspective, but certainly not from a performance one.

Scott, not Camaro, I was talking about how good Firebirds looks. Only Camaro I truly like is 1977-1981 model. I really like 1998-2002 Firebirds. Maybe its just me, but in my opinion 1998-2002 Firebird was better looking than 1999-2004 Mustang.

Meh... I was never a big fan of the last generation of Firebirds. Just didn't do anything for me.
Now just so I don't seem biased my buddy ( a mechanic) has a 1972 Trans Am. He swapped in a 455 backed by a 4 speed auto tranny (Powerglide, I think). Any way he has that motor hopped up with performance heads, a performance cam, a huge Holley 4bbl carb. (I think its an 850 cfm), larger pistons, and a modified upper and lower intake.
He had it dyno'ed last year and it put about 578 to the rear wheels.
The thing is it looks completely stock
