When trading in a vehicle it really pays to do your homework. The most important question IMO is asking yourself what can I buy this for outright. That will tell you what the dealer is actually giving you for your trade. Remember a trade can be mutually good for both of you but usually you are just paying for the dealer to get rid of somethng you don't want while getting something you do want. if you are taking a vehicle he wants to also get rid of, that usually will make the best overall deal for you. Every one will be totally different.
Do Your Homework then just live with your decision.

So many dealers are buttheads - and the jerks, well most of them, that run the car companies have never sold cars. Now that's being in touch with the American consumer - who is not nearly as **** stupid (read not period) as 'those guys' think.
