Let the games begin:

One dealer has a listing on ebay, to allow bids on how much above MSRP a buyer is willing to pay. Bidding starts at 10K, or if you prefer, there is a buy now option of $18,900.
The link was reported on Autoblog. I like the looks of the new Challenger, but at not at a price that makes the Shelby GT500 look like a bargin.

Oh well, I'm feeling pretty good about the cash I just blew on a stroker motor.

I can't wait for this car to come out. I will most likely wait for the 09 models to hit before I jump on one though. I want the R/T model, fully loaded. HAH

Agreed, the SRT-8 model will be the fully optioned one with few if any add ons available. I think this car will achieve quite high ADMs with at least $10,000+sticker on initial release. It may carry all the way through production. The GT500 is still selling at 10K over sticker or more and it's been around now for a couple years. The appeal of the GT500 though is so obvious, I'm just not sure it'll be the same for this car. They may not find 5,000 people willing to buy a new gas guzzling Dodge for $50,000. Collectors will scarf them up, but regular joes, I'm not sure how many.
