The Cars Of Mad Max 4: First Look

I still can't believe this movie is happening. It has been on hold for over 10 years it seems . . .

The return of the Interceptor makes us wonder if this movie will be some kind of prequel, as Max's rare-in-story V8 interceptor was thoroughly blown to smithereens in The Road Warrior. The truck on the other hand looks like a hot wheels car, with a ridiculously huge supercharged engine and a thoroughly chopped top. Looks like every Billetproof builders wet dream, and we wouldn't sneeze at taking it for a spin either. The two are part of what's expected to be quite an armada of vehicles planned for the $100 million Warner Brothers backed film which will be constructed over the next year. The cast is currently completely up in the air, after Miller refuted previous reports of lead roles going to Sam Worthington and Charlize Theron. Filming will begin next summer in New South Wales, Australia.

The amount of "stoked" that Arin is for this film is unmeasurable

Maybe the new movie takes place between the first and second films?

I'd leave Max alone. The original film is a low budget classic and "The Road Warrior" was it's big budget sequel. The third film didn't add anything to the story. I can't see what good a fourth film would do.

I tend to agree here, but you can't help but wonder if they'll be able to actually do something worth while with it. Much like this last Star Trek flick, it could go either way. I thought it was okay, but for some reason, it could've been better. If they go through with it, spend $100M and blow it, that'll suck.

Since AMC had a Mad Max marathon yesterday I thought I would post part of the opening scene of the Road Warrior in HD to keep this thread alive as more information comes down the pipeline for MM4!!
