Car doesn't turn off?

Doing this made me realize how easy it is to hotwire a car. Ignition takes about 15 seconds to pop out, screwdriver in, turn it, off you go. Gone in 60 seconds is darn possible. Its almost sad.

Yeah the whole dog gone column all the way back to the firewall. She hasn't driven it yet because of the battery. I hope it still goes straight.

That's scary. :shock: I wonder if newer ignition locks are anything different to prevent that.

I'll never let my car (except the Olds) out of my sight agian.

I was just thinking, I can see it now, she's in traffic tomorrow morning, and someone gets in front of her, and she hits the horn, and the radio goes off. She turns the radio back on, and the wipers go on. ..................(sudden realization) :shock:......................did I torque the lugnuts?

I just took it out to make sure everything was fine. Seems fine to me ... wheel isn't quite aligned but she said it was like that before. I better get some from this.
