Canyon carving in a Gallardo

Out in Vegas my friend and I rented a car from Vegas Luxury Rides for the day, then took it to Red Rock Canyon to see what it could do. It was a truly amazing experience. Afterwards, we took it down the strip, as we had the car overnight. It amazes me how much the car turned heads. If you're in Vegas, definitely check VLR out. They've got a killer fleet of cars and the prices are reasonable.

Very nice. Sounds like you had a good time. Do they limit how many miles you can put on it?

I'm not a big gambler, so I'd rather spend the money on somehing I know I'd enjoy. My friend and I split it and it was worth every penny. I'd do it again tomorrow if I could. In fact, we're already talking about renting the Gallardos for my bachelor party next year and doing another canyon run.

Yep, especially on the 2012 models ... $1,900-$2,000 for 24 hours ... **** that's pricey.

Ours was a 2012. They had a white 2012 560-4 and an orange one as well.

One of my friends drove Aston Martin DBS at Las Vegas Speedway last year. I think they charged him like $600 for few laps.

We looked into that too, but felt this was a better idea. They have an Aventador and a McLaren MP4-12C, which is the next one on my list to drive.

This and the Vegas raceway laps are the only reasons I'd go back to LV. But I have to admit, they're pretty **** good reasons.

Alas, I must save money for a house.

I'm trying to plan a wedding next year ad well. My fiancée rode with me in it for part of the night and knew how much I wanted to do this, so she didn't mind.

If you want to have more freedom, definitely look at VLR over Exotics Racing. Sure, you can't take it around the track, but there are plenty of places to take a car around Vegas that make for an equally good time. Don at VLR is very cool and made the whole experience very easy.
