This according to Left Lane News. This is assuming no additional snags pop up along the way. Better, really, really, really late than never I suppose.

Believe it or not this is good news for the Mustang die-hards. With some actual competition Ford is likely to ratchet up the innovation and parts machine.
I'd like to own one of each, Z28 and GT. Then I could park them side by side and listen to them snarl at eachother...

Well i think they got a fire lit under their *** when the concept pictures really did leak by accident. They pulled it pretty quick, but a lot of people had seen and saved it by then.

Wasn't just the concept coming too early, its also the fact that the Camaro-featuring Blockbuster has already been out, run, and now released to DVD and we're still over a year away from seeing the car on lots. That was just an insanely bad move.

As it is, the "new" Camaro has already been out in the public eye for about three years and will be five years old when the actual production car is released. The general public will be so bored with it by the time it actually can be bought.
