Camaro Hell

Went to Myrtle Beach for a week. I swear every time i turned around a Camaro was right there. It was like everyone was driving a Camaro. Seen a lot more 10-12 Mustang there also than i do here in NY but not like the Camaro. A lot of the new body style Chargers also. I did see a police Challenger that had a guy pulled over, that was cool.

Talking So that's where they all went.

They are around here, but scarce.
Their sales numbers had me thinkin', "Where the heck did they all go?"

I'll be down there next Tuesday for Mustang Week, so I'll be sure to wave at all of them.

I don't see too many Camaro's here in central NJ just the same 3 over and over (black V6 with disgusting exhaust is a common annoyance) seen a green one the other day, nice color but I still don't like the new Camaro much. Whats the sales data on them look like, do they really outsell the new Stang?

I live in Detroit, seems like everyone drives either a Camaro, Challenger, or Charger!

At first I thought the new Camaro looked pretty cool but I don't think the styling is aging well. The more I see them the less I like. I haven't driven one personally but I hear the outward visibility is pretty terrible. I had a 95 Z28 and that was the same way.

The really the main thing about camaros. No outward visibility, poorly done interior, and heavier than a ****. If they packaged it better maybe more like the 'stang (lighter, faster, nice interior for the money) it would be one serious contender. Honestly id rather take a challenger or even charger than a maro.

Personally, I think GM should've modeled the new Camaro after the 60s model. F-body loyalists would've obviously complained about it being too Mustang-like, but it truly would've been a better vehicle than what they currently offer.

I do love the look of the Challenger but, like the Camaro, it's just way too big.

Well the old challenger was a hulking monster too but youd think that theyd slim
The new version down. Not make it bigger
Its great for families tho because they have a huge backseat and huge trunk. Not to mention a very VERY comfortable ride

There are a bunch of Camaro's around here too, and I'd say 75% of them wear one of these.

I swear every fourth car here is a the new Camaro. I did like the way they looked when they first came out, and honestly I was probably going to get one if they hadn't changed the motors up in the new mustangs. Now I see A LOT of the Camaro's on used car lots!

I saw a lot of new Camaro's when I was down in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
But, I saw a lot of Mustangs - all years. A few new 5.0's and Shelby's too!

But, the Camaro is selling well, regardless of what the magazines are saying.

As for the Challenger? I like them. My dad's friend is trading in his Hemi Orange SRT8 today for a 2011 Green with Envy SRT8.

Hmm on my parking lot at work theres 5 SN95's, 3 S197's, 1 4thgen fbody, and 1 5thgen. Yep I think there's still way more mustangs on the street. Maybe they are the Cavaliers cousins?

Yeah it's almost ridiculous. Cruisin the coast last year in Biloxi was sickening. If there weren't 200 camaro's there weren't any.

Pffft... I think thats great, if it wasn't for the F5 Camaro we might never have seen the Brembo brake package or a summer tire option, or a 412hp 5.0, or an aluminum block GT500, or ad infinitum so IMO competion is awesome.

Besides, I get alot of satisfaction from having read some posts elsewhere about Camaro guys who hated Mustangs because they saw them at every corner and now they are heading toward the same boat.
