that is ugly.....luckily no one ever seems to get stopped for no front plate where i live... i guess the cops might actually have something better to do than stop people for equipment violations.

Thankfully PA does not require a front plate. They are saying you have to drill three holes to mount this thing though. What was GM thinking?

Yes. Believe it or not the molding was only put on the car because of the test results in the wind tunnel. People complained so much about it being a cheap grey plastic part so they decided to make it an option to have it body colored. They also have painted door handles as an option. There was a rumor that a painted grill would be optional as well but they havn't said yet.

I'm not too concerned about it, for a couple of reasons:

1. Tennessee doesn't have front plates.
2. I'm not buying a Corvette

But, couldn't they come up with a better place for the plates? I mean, that's just hideous. I wasn't sold out the integrated headlights, and that big square box floating right in the middle of the nose ...

I hate that Texas requires front plates AND that here in El Paso it is illegal to have license plate frames. They don't really stop you for it, but if they stop you for something else they will get you for that as well.

I know a lot of people liked the new vette, but I am not one of them. That front plate and porr excuse of a spoiler are two reason why

They have a bunch of weird car lasw here, I didnt know it went statewide. I know they have a two inch rule here, as in the lowest part of your car must be two inches from the ground. That would make Lambos and the such illegal, but then again you don't see those types of cars here

Get a bra for your car, then you have a great excuse why your car doesn't have front license plates.

I dont like the new 05 Vette plan and simple there losing there taste at Chevrolet anyways. You think they would add a little retro taste to it. And the Spoiler thing thats just LAME!! And the Plate thing in the front just throws the rest of the car off. Theres Sleek Lines and then all of a sudden a Block sitting there throws the whole car out of whack. But enough said the 05' is ugly!!
