Bugatti Veyron -- full to empty in 12 minutes

Just watched the new Top Gear, apparently the Veyron, if going flat out, will run completely out of fuel in 12 minutes.
12 minutes of mind blowing insanity for a tank of gas, I'll take some of that.

I think Clarkson said that flat out the Veyron will cover something like 400 feet per second.
Put it another way: Put the Veyron and a McLaren F1 (previously the world's fastest car) together on a starting line. Give the F1 a head start. When the F1 hits 120 mph, then the Veyron launches from the start line. IT WILL STILL REACH 200 MPH BEFORE THE MCLAREN F1!!!!!!!!!!
Now THAT'S fast.
As Clarkson says, "Boy, I've been in some quick stuff in my time, but nothing...nothing like this."

Crazy car though. I love how he says you really have to think about what's a mile in front of you...the conditions on the road, etc, etc, before standing on the accelerator or you will be in trouble very, very fast.

ya... i was scared off by this torrent thing myself at first... Basically what you download from that site is a tiny file, its not the video itself. You download that thing, than you need a torrent client program that'll open that tiny file, and use it to actually find the file you want to download.

this site has the client that you can download. Once you have that, you can download the tiny files from finalgear.com, and open them with the bit torrent client. The client will then start downloading the file from all the people who are currently sharing or 'seeding' the file. Sometimes it starts out slow, but since you're often downloading from like 5 or 6 people at once, it gets going pretty quick eventually. THe idea behind torrents is that even before you've downloaded the whole thing, you already start sharing it with other people trying to download it. It works pretty well and you can find pretty much any TV show on there, and some other things that you probably aren't supposed to download legally.
I don't know what the legal deal is with downloading tv shows... i mean... especially if they're broadcast through the air waves free for anyone to pick up...
