photo from google not actual car,

The Porsche 959 is a sports car, sometimes called an exotic car or supercar, manufactured in small numbers by Porsche AG in the 1980s.
read more about Porsche 959 @ wikipedia

-------------------------------------------------------------
There had never been anything like the 959 – an everyday sports car with a top speed of 315 km/h…

Depressing the accelerator was guaranteed to put a smile on the face of the 959 driver. The rear-mounted six-cylinder, 2848 ccm engine with water-cooled cylinder heads produced 450 HP thanks to two turbochargers and intercoolers.… ”It reached 100 km/h after just 3.7 seconds” according to the calculations of auto motor und sport and that put -the 959 into a class of its own.
-------------------------------------------------------------

“There was one advertised in Autoweek for $950,000 not too long ago. I've also seen them occasionally for sale in Hemmings Motor News for $595,000 and up. (The $595k one was a Sport, but did have some miles on it)” http://erntheburn.tripod.com/autos/959/95911.htm

Both Bill Gates the founder and chairman of Microsoft, and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen have and enjoy there 959...

If I remember correctly, President Busch had to make some new law or something since 959 is not street legal in the USA.

Clinton not Bush

"... due to the 959’s questionable emissions and unknown crash ratings, it took a federal law signed by President Clinton for Bill Gates to legally drive his 959 on American roads. Rumour has it that Bill Gates and Paul Allen employed Microsoft engineers to write a computer program that could simulate the 959’s crashworthiness, which helped in the bill’s passage."

Man, those cars are just flat out beautiful! I've been drooling over that model ever since I first laid eyes on one many years ago.
