attended the 2013 NYCIAS 4/1 mon. according to their spokesperson; $/cost will be slightly more than the ZL-1, body colors only offered in white, black, silver & red (the pearl satin/matte is just for the display model). standard AM/FM w/one speaker but of course the whole range of track performance goodies. i did forget to ask if there is a limited prod qty & year(s) offered, and whether each vehicle will be numerically certified.

 

The one speaker still confuses me. Why not two or none? Also i believe it is limited prod with the same lifespan as the boss. Maybe one added year. The re-design is schedeled for 2016 model year so it could be like one last hurrah before the next model. Much like the new Shelby (most similarly priced mustang)

 

In an article I read , it said because they are required by law,to have at least one speaker, for warning chimes/sounds IIRC.

not sure if its been mentioned yet casue i didnt go through and read all the comments but i guess you havent heard of the 2012 copo camaro? they had the 427 (7.0L) n/a, 5.3 with 2.8L sc, and 5.3 with 4.0L sc engines.

 

Yea but that was like the Cobra Jet. Built for the strip.
