BMW M6 Gran Coupe
The third member of the second-generation M6 line-up runs BMW M division’s twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre engine and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox – a combination first seen in the M5 and more recently brought to the M6 coupe and cabriolet. Power peaks at 552bhp, with torque swelling to a maximum 502lb ft on a band of revs between 1500 and 5750rpm.

So, BMW is using the name M6, to sell a high performance "4-door coupe" thingy? Automakers have no shame in pillaging their heritage... I mean it's not a bad looking thing, better than the current M5 IMO, but it shouldn't be called an M6.

I though the whole point of 6-Series was to be a coupe version of 5-Series?
So why have two identical cars (5-Series/M5 and 6-Series Gran Coupe/M6 Gran Coupe)?

I like it, and would take it over an M5.
But, really, just how many niche vehicles do we need? I know BMW have built this because Merc has the CLS and Audi the A7, but what's wrong with 1 coupe, and 1 saloon.
Next will be the X6M

Yeah I just don't get the naming changes you know 4 doors are odd and 2 doors are even?!? But then the 3 is 4 or 2 doors bang head!! I do think BMW is losing their direction a little bit here!
