I think it is good that there is going to be some competition, I still reckon a modded '05 will still be able to be up there with the GTO, plus the Mustang has "New Looks", rather than borrowing heavilly from another car in the marque.

That orange GTO has Nissan Skyline GTR written all over it 
As for the real McCoy, who cares? 90% of the GTO's problem is styling, Noones complained about performance that much. As long as it looks like a Grand Am its not a big deal. Yes, people who throw body kits on it like Ricers will be happy, and Joe "wife wants something that looks safe" will give it another look, But Mustang will make this thing its Woman in sales.
