sad to say, i read online from the people that built eleanor cars that they had 351 windsors in them and the 140mph scene car had 400hp
I read 302's from Mustang Monthly. Not a big deal. Maybe both were used and MM messed up

Saw the new War of the Worlds movie tonight. Cool flick, and Tom Cruise drives a '66 Hertz Shelby and has a 302 in pieces in his kitchen! My kinda guy.

I don't remember Boss Hogg driving a Mustang. It would have been funny to have the Boss driving a TransAM (AKA Bandit). Even Tom Cruise's "War of the Worlds" movie links to the original 1953 production. The actors that play the gransparents in the new movie played the leading two roles in the first movie.

Original Boss Hogg drove Cadillac. I don't think he ever drove Mustang before this movie.

Wasn't a Mustang the only car the General Lee ever lost a race to? Maybe that's why.
