I Had a 63 Polara at One Time With a Production Date of 10-62 My Birthday! Kinda Cool Having a Car The Same Age! Actually The Fastest Car I Ever Had! It Scooted! Still Have The Engine it's Going in One of My Current Mopars!

1954 I wish my folks bought me this Corvette!!

Mass production and the resulting economies of scale had a welcome effect on the Corvette's window sticker. In 1954, the base price dropped from the original car's $3498 to $2774.

2) License - 1970
3) First car - 1964 Olds F-85 for $650. It provided transportation to my first job as a bus boy in 1971 on Longboat Key, FL making $1.25 an hour plus tips.
4) First NEW car - 1982 Mustang GT at $9,616.00 at 13% interest rate.

Average cost in 1958 for a Chevy Bel Air was $2,586 for a coupe and $2,724 for a convertible... On average, it's currently valued at approximately $23,992
