WOW--is it just me or does the front end of the Falcon GT like kind of like the 99-04 Mustang? I like it!

First noticed that while watching the V-8 Supercar racing on SPEED this week.

 

ok I think one of you two need to send me a weekely reminder as to when V-8 supercars are on Speed thank you very much!

 

It's been on during the early weekday afternoon--1 hour shows at 1 & 2 pm EST.
SPEED is also mixing in BTCC and DTM shows too. GREAT Stuff!
Holden is currently getting the best of the Falcon in the races I have seen.)

(A small benefit of being an at-home-dad, is seeing these shows.)

Doug, you are the man . I always wanted to see the FPV GT in action, but I thought I never would, what a surprise. The exhaust sound is incredible for a sedan. I've known about this car for a while now, and I I actually have a diecast of the GT sedan in my office at the dealership I work at. This is one bad car, and If Ford does what they say they might do, and use the new version of this chassis for the 2008 Crown Vic, rename it, and offer this type of car in the states, they may have a winner on their hands. The FPV GT is one of the best kept secrets Ford has going.

Jeff..yes i agree that car is awesome...kinda bugs me that ford would bring over the falcon and call it a crown vic. I wish they's just bring it over as a Falcon and be done with it. This renaming crap really annoys me. I wish the GTO was just brought over as a Manaro too. Oh well if they do bring it over I'm sure it will get a styling change and I hope that there are companies out there that will sell the Aussie parts to change it back to a falcon. You can do this with the GTO now and turn it back into a very agressive looking Manaro.

duude u read my mind. the falcon should be the falcon n thats it. plus, falcon sounds nicer than crown victoria, which always made me think of an ugly old lady.

 

I have always liked falcons.since the first one in 1960. but these should be over here already and yes, keep the falcon name on it. this is the first 4dr I would like to own. also like the pick up version.
