Audi Sport Quattro

The new Sport Quattro is a petrol-electric plug-in hybrid with a combined 690bhp, which makes it the most powerful Audi ever.

All the Quattro concepts have been nice, this one is no exception. Just wish something would actually get produced.

I was blown away by the concept sketches..............superb rake and gave it a long hood/short deck/fastback look.

The actual concept loses these and it looks like a FWD hatchback

Looks like this one is going into production in 2016.

Only 250-500 will be built, price should be around 250,000 euros ($320,000).

The price of the original Sport Quattro was over 200,000 German marks back in 1983.

I'm not sure how much 200,000 German marks was in dollars back in 1983.

I remember in the late to mid 1990s, right before euro took over, it was $1 = 2 German marks.

It's stood at 2:1 for a long time. Pretty much my whole life until the wall went down.
