Help, our son has a 71' Mercury Comet. His "friend" took the car without permission and wrecked it. Took out the entire front end. You would not believe how rare they are to find. If any one knows where to find one or a maverick, please get in touch with us.

u should sue that kid and his family, kelly.....what a jerk! if someone i knew did such a thing like that, it would not be so pretty...sorry bout ur son's car, you could probably find a good replacement

First... Welcome, sorry it had to be on these terms though .

Second... did you press charges at all or at least file a report? While this kid may have been your son's friend it is still theft to take the vehicle without any permission whatsoever. A report may make it easier for you and your insurance company to get the ball rolling when you find another one.

Hemmings has some older classic cars for sale. I don't know how much you can spend but hopefully they have something.
