I've always liked MOPAR. If the Challenger weighed 300+ lbs less, i would want one pretty bad

Charger and challenger had the rear prior to the dart being around. I can see the front being similar but there's enough differences between them.

Not sure I like the new front of the charger, but I do like what they did with the challenger.

I like them both but i'm bummed out that they are no longer offering AWD on V8 models. I was waiting for this Charger to come out for a couple years now as I was interested in buying one as my next daily driver. Now i'm not so sure...

Hopefully along with the new Mustang they will release some more info like pricing and MPG numbers... And maybe they do decide to bring back AWD on the R/T after a year or two.

Like them both, both are well done updates and mid-model-run updates all too often seem handled by the design B-Team.

Charger: nicely updated from the rather busy and baroque current front end -- contemporary yet still aggressive enough for the grrr, grrr guys who want a car that shouts grrrr, grrrr.

Challenger: had enough sense to leave this modern classic unmolested. Nice subtle, refined and well integrated updates. Now if they can only develop a 4/5ths sized next gen...

Both are looking pretty well!

Sad that the Challenger Hemi is not offered with a long final axle (2,62:1 eg.) for better Fuel economy (as part of an "Autobahn Package" for example)

this^... Is how I feel. Aren't they putting the 392 as an option for the R/T?

Am I the only person who thinks the new Charger looks absolutely awful?

Nope.

However I do like the new Challenger. I was wondering if Dodge would ever move away from the 1970 look, and I think they were smart to copy the 1971. As long as they stay away from the looks of the 1973s they should do well with the Challenger. The 1970 was my favorite year for the Challenger, but the 1971 was my second; after that the Federal Government regulations ruined the Challenger and pretty much everything else.

IMHO Chrysler Corp. should have been allowed to perish when the govt bailed them out back in the 80s.

I really like the new updates for the Challenger. Not sure I'm cool with the new Dart like grill for the Charger...

I will be trading my 2012 5.0 premium for a 2015 Challenger 6.4l Scat Pack. I will have to test drive it along with a 2015 Mustang too.

I was going to wait to see the GT350, but even though I have the money at my age it just isn't smart.

It seems like they are following the foreign car makers. It's funny how dodge is going away from the bass mouth look and ford is now using it.

Technically purchasing anything that depreciates isn't smart. With that being said, I'm the dumbest car enthusiast out there.
