The 2014 Vette is a pretty amazing car. I've read a couple of road tests and it seems pretty universally loved! Man, these are the good old days of Cardom. With the 2015 mustang coming out not to mention the 2016 gt350 (yowza) cars, and more importantly AMERICAN cars are world class beasts. Now let's just hope the economy holds together.

I'm also glad they managed to fix the interior.
I like how the traction control references an inferred tire temperature and adjusts accordingly.
Tire pressure monitoring sensors have been pretty much able to measure temperature from the get-go (so the system can calculate a low pressure situation) GM has designed the system to use that info in an algorithm to figure out tire temperature and adjust accordingly, pretty slick.

I agree. The styling is messed up. I noticed it at some race last month when it was a pace car.
Its like they chainsawed two completely different styles/eras and welded them together.
I'm guessing the front wide open mouth is supposed to be a throwback to the early days. To attract the retro guys.

But then the side and back its like they had to weld on a Euro style uber modern flash flash (with Camaro transformer taillights no less) to draw that crowd of buyer.

While either style is fine on its own, the way they combined them just doesn't work together very well IMO.

I'm loving at all the amazing LED taillight our american companies are coming out with. The 2013 mustang, the Charger racetrack lights, and now the corvette+camaro. Very impressive to see at night, as any car guy will be able to tell what the car is , just by the tail light shape and look.

I've always wanted a Vette and I would like to have one someday. They've always been a little out of reach. Sigh.
The new styling is going to take some getting used to. Not sold on that rear end. It looks like a bad rendition of the Camaro. The exhaust sounds really good. I love gadgets and there were plenty to go around in that car.

I'm actually a fan of the C6 and this new Vette is worlds better a car. The interior is finally a great place to be.
I was really impressed when I saw one at a big north Texas Corvette club event. They had a Lime Rock green one there with a saddle colored interior. Color me impressed. But I don't like the wheels at all. HRE would do wonders.

The styling I can get into, but there's always been something about the C5 and C6 that made them look menacing and mean while being smooth and curvaceous at the same time. This one looks more sophisticated and more euro than american sports car, and I guess to each his own on their opinion of that. The interior is definitely a step up in the right direction...
with that said... that thing is definitely fast.
