Overall my only gripe is that it goes from fresh new face to same boring rear. I just wish theyd redesign the rear to match the new style of the front. Other than that i like the looks, cant wait to see the coupe and V versions to follow

As For Next-Gen EB, other than saying that the Atlas Concept has it Ford has remained tight-lipped.
A very nice replacement. I would agree that the rear quarters are a bit bland, lacking definition and contour (GM design seems to like these big flat panel areas on the rear quarters, Vettes the same way) and the rear itself lacks a bit of resolution and coherence – just a few too many lines that don’t quite relate to each other tightly enough. Nothing awful by any means, but not outright beauty either.
The overall interior design, too, is very nice and it looks even more sophisticated and upscale than the previous cars, which still retained a touch of old-school Cadillac nouveau riche glitz. However, the overall lines and volumes seem a bit softer and puffier than the crisper, sharper, tauter exterior – like the two design teams weren’t talking to each other quite enough resulting in a slight stylistic disconnect.
I wonder what the engine lineup will be, what with the 420hp T6? Will that supplement or supplant the current V models thundering V8? Hopefully the former.
Yeah, can't wait to see the other versions, particularly the audacious wagon in V trim and stick shift. Cadillac needs to keep that as a marker of independent thinking if nothing else, even if they only sell a dozen to closed minded Americans.

Lincoln had a concept coupe that had a 420hp EcoBoost V6...I'd bet we'll see that iteration very soon now. I remember seeing the current engines being underrated anyways, and easily tuned to have 30-40 more hp.
