2013 Cadillac ATS
Looks pretty good but appears too close to the look of the CTS. The same could be said about the 3 and 5 series to the undiscerning audience but not to me. Problem is that even the interior looks the same. But it is promising and I like the smaller dimensions of the car. They could really do a number if they pull the Turbo 4 a V6 and V8 in the line up with a V model as the range topper and V8. Much like the A4 line up used to be.
The headlights are nice, but the rest of this looks like a mid-life facelift of 4-year-old CTS design. That could be fine, lotta love for the CTS, but after all the yang they've been talking about Lincoln I'm surprised Caddy isn't making more of an effort to keep its design moving forward.
Agree it looks very similar to the CTS, but it's still good looking.
I'd love to see this do well in the UK, but GM have never seriously pushed Cadillac........and the all new 3 series is getting 5 star reviews.
So glad this is RWD though. Is it the Alpha platform? If so, I believe that's what the next-gen Camaro is 'sposed to use.
C'mon Ford, where's your RWD small sedan? (hopefully waiting for the next-gen Mustang platform!)

I agree that the ATC looks similar to CTS, but doesn't the same rule apply to all luxury cars? Pretty much the entire line up at Lincoln, BMW, Mercedes and especially Audi looks the same.

A diesel engine WILL be offered within the first model cycle of this car.
In expressing my opinion that this is too conservative, I've received hints that ATS was originally supposed to be a bit more of a step up but somebody ordered the look dialed back. Sad if true.
Not bad, if a bit overly safe and a little fussy in the details around the upper rear 3/4s and rear deck area. I think Cadillac needs to advance their Arts and Design design language a bit more aggressively.
