For anybody wondering whether Honda might come back from the brink with regard to high performance vehicles this is most certainly the writing on the wall. To wit, it's all over but the crying fella's.

Ain't that the truth. When your biggest "performance" upgrade is going from a 2.0L 197hp motor in the Civic SI to a 2.4L motor that only adds a few more HP and a little more torque, you know the end has been reached.

I've read that so many times over the last 6 years I honestly stopped caring. When it shows up in the flesh with a Monroney, I will have an opinion.

In regards to Honda and performance overall, though, after the shoddy way Honda treated the S2000, do you really want them to have another performance vehicle?
