2012 Car and Driver 10 Best
Didn't see this posted and search kept returning an error, but...
I received the new issue of Car and Driver yesterday. They'll make the formal announcement of the 10 Best on December 6th, but the 2012GT and Boss made the 10 Best.
I hope Ford keeps up the streak to Miata levels.
The list was,
Audi A6/A7
BMW 3-series (21 years)
Cadillac CTS-V
Ford Focus
Ford Mustang GT/Boss
Honda Fit
Honda Accord
Mazda MX-5 (22 years)
Porsche Boxster/Cayman
Volkswagon GTI/Golf

Plus there was that recall from few days ago ...
December started off with two recalls from Japan’s favorite auto brands: Honda for a defective airbag inflator; and Toyota for mislabeled load capacity on the Sienna minivan. Honda Airbag Recall Expansion
The Problem: Honda has expanded one of its previous recalls. The recall includes approximately 273,000 Honda and Acura vehicles from the 2001 through 2003 model-years sold in the U.S. The driver’s airbag inflator may deploy with too much pressure, which can cause the inflator casing to rupture and could result in injury or fatality. Honda will replace these parts in affected vehicles.
Honda has also determined that approximately 640 affected driver’s airbag service parts were sold and installed in vehicles that needed these parts replaced from collision repairs or other service. Honda will replace the parts in the affected vehicles following the inspection. This recall now includes certain 2001 and 2002 Accord, 2001 to 2003 Civic, 2001 to 2003 Odyssey, 2002 and 2003 CR-V, 2003 Pilot, 2002 and 2003 Acura 3.2 TL and 2003 Acura 3.2 CL vehicles.
The Fix: Starting in late December Honda will mail notification to owners of vehicles possibly affected by the recall and encourages them to bring their vehicle to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive the letter.
Number of Vehicles Affected: The automaker will inspect approximately 603,000 vehicles because they cannot determine which vehicles these service parts were installed in.
