2009 Dodge Challenger will start at $21,995
And about the G8, I dont understand two things about it. #1 wheres the AWD? 90% of people that live anywhere that gets a little snow will not by a rear drive sedan. Its pointless, they will have to get another car for the winter anyway, so the rear drive car will more than likely be a true sports car.
Of course this all depends on your defintion of light snow as well
The Stang is still the best band for the buck car by far.
Not gonna argue that, I still don't think I could have found a better car for what I paid for my Mustang. Not to mention the dealer markups that are sure to follow with the popularity of the Challenger. But hey, variety is the spice of life, and I'm excited to see another retro-styled car cruising around with our Mustangs.

No bluetooth, nav, or satellite radio. It really makes me wonder who authorizes these decisions.
In the past 40 years he has only had RWD V8 cars.
In the past 70 years he has only had RWD cars.
In the northeast? Does he not drive in the winter? I mean I know someone that only owns a Mercury Grand Marquis, but he simply doesn't go out of the house if there is any snow on the ground because (he is retired), I don't think he is going to buy a G8 GT any time soon.

I actually prefer a rwd in the winter. Drove my Stang all winter long with no problems...and that includes a few nasty snowstorms. I grew up driving rwd in the snow so it's no big deal. I see more fwd's and 4x4's in ditches around here in the winter than I've seen rwd.
Interesting, my local dealer said they wouldn't get their first 09's until early Sept. and they are a pretty large Dodge Dealer. They still are waiting on their third and final Black 08 SRT.
If I were to get one what do you all think about the moon roof? It looks ok on the roof line. I would never get one on the Stang if it was an option since it just don't look right to me on the roof line. I'm leaning towards no moon roof on a Challenger.

He's been retired since Reagan's first term.
He lives on one of the steepest hills in town and I've seen him drive past FWD cars going up it.
Of course 70+ years of driving experience helps.
