2008+ Challenger Production Pics?
Remarkably close to the concept Challenger. Inclusion of a B-pillar is understandable if slightly regretable and the rear end and lights do look somewhat different but very good. Presuming they were able to keep the weight somewhat in check, I would think the Challenger to be a very strong challenger (sorry) to the Mustang and Camaro. Of course it's all supposition as to how well the actual car will turn out, but given what evidence we have to date, Ford ought not to rest on its Mustang laurels nor should Chevy be smug with their promising Camaro. Good days to be a Pony Car buff.
looks great. I knew there was no way they were going to keep those taillights from the concept. But from what i can see i really like the production ones. And the ducktail spoiler is a plus!
Now that I see it in non-professional photos, I can definitely see the new Challenger's LX (300, Charger, Magnum) heritage in that it has a high beltline and a thick looking body. It looks like a an original Challenger that has gotten chubby over the years.
Boy, I am not a fan of that back end at all. Really dislike the mid-70s style lights, and why would you not run the pipes through a notch in that massive, featureless rear bumper and give it some character? Still looks great in profile, though.
Looks great in my opinion, i would like to see the rear in a little better shot without any glare to really see what they did to the taillights. But over all it looks good. Is it me, or did they add a front lip spoiler to it?? Ahh, i see that they added a -B- pillar. That kinda makes it look different from the concept. But overall it looks great!
it looks as though dodge took a 1970 challenger......took it apart.....rebuilt it with modern parts and said "hey look heres our new challenger!"
I think its boring looking. Clean, but boring

After this picture leaked, I can only imagine the salivation the local Dodge dealers are doing with the HUGE (and I am not kidding on this) ADM's that will accompany the MSRP.
Especially since I'd also like to get my hands on the next generation CTS-V, too.
Lol, I think buying a Vantage and using it as your DD would be more attainable.
Wow that is a slick looking car. As far as the ADM's go yeah, the Chrysler folks are bad about it too. I tried and tried to get a four door Jeep Wrangler but refused to pay over sticker. I guess folks around here have more money than sense cause they are flying off the lots. I'm sure the Challenger will have some nasty markups at first, but with oil at $86 per barrell and climbing I'm wondering how long those ridiculous prices will hold out.
