Good read though. And the concept Camaro looks great. [/b][/quote]
Whats to miss? A pontiac firebird is subpar to a camaro.
Of the 3 Mustang(maybe except for 1969) is the leader of the pack. This new camaro looks to be VERY cool. Seems like Pontiac is sinking everything on that gto.I would GIVE to own a blue 69 camaro!
My first was an 81, and I hated it at the time. NOW I would give anything to have another for the cool muscle car thing- and they are not "hot items" yet- and can still be had for a small pricetag.hmmm.. BUT I don't want to EVER go through another restoration. Talk about sinking money.

You know I am going to have to third guess the Mustang if the camaro indeed looks like the 67-69 SS right?
MAN I love these retro looking cars, SO tired of lunchboxes and snooty cars.

I thought the specualtion on the new chassis "Zeta" would pave way for a new Chevelle and not a Camaro.
Time will tell . . .

1965 ford makes mustang, 1967 GM catches up
2005 ford re does mustang, 2007 GM catches up
well whoever you are, you're right. i guess its true, history does repeat itself
edit: BTW it does look a heluva lot like BM's chop...hmmm...maybe he's a GM spy....we're on to you!!!

excuse me , but the Trans ams were superior to the camaros in every way possible.
With their lights down they had better aero, they were more stylish, mnore comfortable, through the 60's and 70's more more powerful. Had more features and we considered a more uplevel car.

when i think of firebird, i think about this beautiful machine
it would be very nice if GM builds at least a concept based on the look of this car and see how the public responds to it.

Now I do like that one.
My dream car is a blue 1969 camaro. Someday I will find one and drag it home.
I really REALLY am going to like the camaro if they bring it back all retro though. Don't know whether to pee or go blind with that and the mustang.
